The Climb Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Climb. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Climb. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

App License

The Climb gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful personal purposes. You may not copy, sell, disrupt, scrape, abuse, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.

Screen Time Features

App blocking is a voluntary focus tool that depends on Apple Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings, permissions, device configuration, and operating-system behavior. You remain responsible for confirming that a focus session is active. The Climb cannot guarantee that every app, category, or website will always be blocked.

Community Rules

Do not post harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, sexual content, spam, scams, payment solicitation, private information, abusive language, or content that encourages self-harm, violence, or illegal activity. We may filter, remove, restrict, or preserve content and suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you create. You give The Climb a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, synchronize, secure, moderate, and improve the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Faith, AI, and Wellness Disclaimer

Devotionals, scripture, AI-generated or curated missions, reflection prompts, and discipline tools are for general informational and motivational purposes. Content may contain mistakes and should be reviewed with judgment. The Climb is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, crisis, or pastoral care. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Accounts and Service Availability

You can sign out or permanently delete your account from the Profile tab. We may restrict or terminate access when an account violates these terms or creates a safety or security risk. Cloud services, AI generation, notifications, widgets, app blocking, and community features may occasionally be delayed or unavailable.

Ownership

The Climb name, branding, software, interface, and original content are owned by the app operator or its licensors. Bible translations and third-party services remain the property of their respective owners. The app uses public-domain World English Bible text where scripture is supplied directly by The Climb.

Warranty and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Climb is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. The Climb and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages where those limitations are permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
